THE PROGRAMME
Programme overview
Established under the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013, the programme is administered by the Investment Migration Agency Grenada (IMA). A contribution to the National Transformation Fund (NTF) is one application route.
Contribution without property purchase
The NTF route is a non-refundable contribution. It involves no property purchase and creates no personal asset.
Citizenship and passport
Citizenship is distinct from passport validity. Passports require renewal; retention of citizenship remains subject to applicable law and statutory deprivation grounds.
The 2026 amendments address the regional framework of the Eastern Caribbean Citizenship by Investment Regulatory Authority (ECCIRA). Residence and related regional requirements await the regulator’s operation and a commencement date formally announced by participating states.

01 / NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION FUND
NTF contribution
Minimum contributionUS$235,000
A non-refundable contribution to the National Transformation Fund supporting Grenada’s development. It creates no personal asset.

Contribution and payment arrangements
Complete the review first, then pay as instructed after approval. Use the prescribed authorised channels and retain source-of-funds and transfer evidence.
The contribution is non-refundable. Application, review and other charges are additional.
The contribution threshold excludes application, review, interview, documentation and service charges. Special categories and additional dependants require separate costing.
Separate the contribution from administrative charges for a complete family budget. The amounts below follow IMA’s application-page schedule.
Application fee
US$1,500 per applicant.
Due diligence and interview
The application page lists US$5,000 for due diligence and US$1,000 for the interview for applicants aged 17 or over. Dependent children aged 16 or under pay no due-diligence fee.
Processing fee
US$1,500 per person aged 17 or over; US$500 per person under 17.
Why a written fee schedule matters
IMA’s FAQ separately lists US$6,000 for due diligence for those aged 17 or over, unlike the itemised application page. We show the application-page breakdown without adding the figures twice. Charge descriptions, applicable persons and totals must be confirmed in writing before payment. Any fee changes under the regional framework and their commencement dates remain subject to formally published schedules and notices.
Non-applicant spouses, sponsors and extra dependants
IMA also provides for review or interviews of non-applicant spouses and sponsors. Additional dependant contributions of US$25,000 or US$50,000, and US$75,000 for siblings, require confirmation by dependant category.
Other costs to budget for
Passport, legalisation, translation, medical, professional-service and bank charges are additional. An itemised schedule is provided before payment.
Applicable rules and formal payment instructions govern charges. The contribution is non-refundable and creates no personal asset.
ELIGIBILITY & FAMILY
Who can apply
Eligibility and family size are different questions. An eligible dependant is not necessarily covered by the base contribution or government charge.
Main applicant
At least 18, in suitable health, with sufficient lawfully sourced funds and subject to due diligence. Criminal records, visa refusals and other material matters must be disclosed.
Spouse and children
A spouse; children under 18; children aged 18 to 29 supported by the main applicant or spouse; and children aged 18 or over with a physical or mental disability who live with and are fully supported by the main applicant, without an upper age limit.
Parents, grandparents and siblings
Parents and grandparents of the main applicant or spouse must be fully supported by either. Biological or adopted siblings of the main applicant or spouse must be at least 18, single and have no children.
Individual family costing
Parents or grandparents aged 55 or under, and siblings, are excluded from the up-to-4-person US$235,000 base contribution. Each additional ordinary dependant adds US$25,000; each parent or grandparent aged 55 or under, US$50,000; each sibling, US$75,000. Administrative and review fees are additional.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Application process
Conatus Mobility coordinates your family’s citizenship planning, application preparation and progress, assisting with arrangements from the initial assessment through to obtaining citizenship and passports. Formal applications are submitted through the prescribed channels and reviewed by the competent authorities under applicable law.

Assessment and preparation
Conatus Mobility confirms your family composition, contribution arrangements and budget, provides an itemised written fee schedule, and coordinates legalisation, English translations and application forms.

Submission and review
Pay the applicable application and review fees and submit through authorised channels. Interviews are mandatory: applicants aged 17 or over attend an online interview arranged by IMA and provide any additional documents. Conatus Mobility follows progress throughout.

Approval and contribution
After approval and payment instructions, complete the NTF contribution within the specified period. Conatus Mobility helps verify the amounts, payment instructions and completion evidence.

Registration and passport
Following payment verification and citizenship registration, obtain the registration certificate and passport. Conatus Mobility coordinates document delivery and reminders for subsequent passport and record updates.
Citizenship is determined by the Grenadian authorities under applicable law. Approval and fixed timelines are not guaranteed. Review, further documents and application volumes affect processing; Conatus Mobility provides a written estimate before engagement.
Conatus Mobility provides assessment, document preparation, submission coordination and ongoing support. Services are governed by the written agreement.

Residence requirements
No mandatory visit or residence requirement currently applies. The 2026 amendment provides for at least 30 days collectively during the first 5 calendar years after citizenship; the main applicant and each named dependant must each spend at least 5 days in the first 12 months. Shared dates count only once. IMA has deferred implementation until ECCIRA operates and participating states formally announce a common commencement date. Passport
The initial passport is valid for 5 years. Renewal is subject to the residence and other conditions applicable at that time. Residence compliance and renewal provisions in the 2026 amendment must be read with the formal commencement notice.

US E-2 and travel
A person who acquired Grenadian nationality through investment and has not previously been granted E status must have been domiciled in Grenada for at least 3 continuous years before applying for E-2, and meet substantial-investment and business requirements. Holding a passport for 3 years is not domicile. E-2 is a nonimmigrant visa, not US permanent residence, and approval is not automatic.
Grenada is not listed in Presidential Proclamation 10998 of December 2025. However, the subsequent US pause on immigrant visa issuance for certain nationalities includes Grenada; that pause does not apply to tourist visas. Nonimmigrant and immigrant visa rules must be checked separately. Issuance and admission remain subject to current US rules and individual review.
